6.Hastelloy Stainless Steel C-2000
Hastelloy Stainless Steel C-2000 is a new type of NI-CR-MO alloy, which is based on C4 alloy with increased chromium content and added copper, greatly improving the alloy's resistance to oxidation and corrosion by reducing media. It is currently the alloy with good resistance to H2SO4 corrosion in this series, but its resistance to intergranular corrosion is not as good as C4. Therefore, it is feasible to use this alloy in H2SO4 environment. Has corrosion resistance: including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid, organic acids, chlorides, alkali metals, pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking. The Hastelloy Stainless Steel C2000 data shows superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion compared to the industry standard C-276 alloy. Its forming welding and machining forming performance is similar to that of C-276 Hastelloy Stainless Steel C2000 alloy, which solves the dilemma in the design of this alloy. Combining high chromium content with molybdenum and copper results in excellent resistance to reducing environmental corrosion without sacrificing metallurgical stability. This alloy is mainly used for chemical processing equipment and components that contain both oxidizing and reducing corrosive media, such as reactors, heat exchangers, valves, pumps, fasteners, etc. It is more suitable for the environment of fluorine-containing catalysts in HF acid production and use
