Super Austenite Stainless Steel

1.Super Austenite Stainless Steel 254SMO
254SMO is an austenitic stainless steel. Due to its high molybdenum content, it has high resistance to pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion. This grade of stainless steel is developed and researched for use in environments containing halides, such as seawater. 254SMO also has good resistance to uniform corrosion. Especially in acids containing halides, this steel is superior to ordinary stainless steel. Its C content is less than 0.02%, so it is called pure austenitic stainless steel (also known as super austenitic stainless steel). 254SMO (S31254, F44, 1.4547) stainless steel is a highly corrosion-resistant super austenitic stainless steel developed for environments with halides and acids. It is widely used in harsh working conditions such as high concentration chloride ion media and seawater.

3.Super austenitic N08367 (AL-6XN)
Super austenitic N08367 (AL-6XN) alloy is a highly corrosion-resistant austenitic stainless steel with high Cr and Mo content. It also has strong corrosion resistance in harsh environments such as high-temperature seawater or flue gas desulfurization devices. Under certain conditions, it has corrosion resistance comparable to Hastelloy and pure titanium, making it a highly cost-effective stainless steel. The ability to resist chloride pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion is far superior to 300 (316L, 317L) series stainless steel and 904L stainless steel, and its cost is much lower than that of corrosion-resistant nickel based alloys (alloys 625, 276, etc.). It exhibits good corrosion resistance in various severe corrosive environments and is suitable for high chloride aqueous solutions and chloride corrosion environments.

7.Super Austenitic 654SMO
The addition of 3% Mn to the super austenitic 654SMO steel increases the nitrogen content and combines with high chromium, nickel, and molybdenum to achieve a PRE value of 55. This value is not only superior to all super austenitic stainless steels containing 6% molybdenum, but also surpasses existing super ferritic stainless steels and super duplex stainless steels. 654SMO steel has a single austenite structure in the solid solution state, which is the same as 6% Mo type super austenitic stainless steel. Due to the fact that this steel belongs to the 7% Mo type steel and has high chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen content, when the processes of hot processing, hot forming, heat treatment, welding, etc. are not suitable, it is more likely for intermetallic phases and Cr2N to precipitate on the substrate, thereby damaging various properties of the steel. This steel is used in refining, chemical and chemical equipment, flue gas desulfurization devices for thermal power generation, wastewater treatment, atomic power generation, comprehensive utilization of coal, ocean tide power generation energy field, marine structures in marine environments, seawater desalination, seawater aquaculture, seawater heat exchange, desalination plants, high-pressure R0 plants and submarine pipelines, high-strength, corrosion-resistant mechanical equipment and components, etc.
